Takoyaki is known as “Japanese octopus balls”.
If you have Takoyaki pan or Takoyaki maker, you can eat Takoyaki anytime!
My father’s delicious Takoyaki
In my family, my father always makes Takoyaki.
Here’s my father’s Takoyaki.
The outside is so crunchy and the inside has delicious octopus!
I love his Takoyaki and I crave for this once in a while.
Now I’m sharing the recipe!
Ingredients for Takoyaki (Japanese octopus balls)
Flour 250g
Fish stock 1000ml
Egg 3
Cabbage 150g~
Octopus
Dried seaweed
Katsuobushi

Chop the cabbage.

Cut the octopus, too.

Mix the fish stock and flour and eggs.

Pour the mixed batter inside the Takoyaki maker or Takoyaki plate.

Put the octopus in each container in the takoyaki maker.

Put the cabbage on top of it.

Add more mixed batter.

Wait for a while…

When the half bottom is cooked, flip them little by little.

Keep flipping each Takoyaki.

.
When the shape is a perfect round and cooked well, it’s done.

Put sauce and Aonori (seaweed) and Katsuobushi.
